Purpose: For this project, I created a Wiki. In this Wiki, my students will use writing, as well as evaluating text skills when they enter a review for a book they have read from our classroom library. As a result, other classmates will have the opportunity to read a peer created review and make decisions regarding a book. This learning tool will add to a student’s development of the reading and writing skills mentioned in the standards listed below. I would introduce this website after my first reading lesson that focuses on evaluating text. After teaching and assessing this skill, I would use this Wiki to encourage ongoing practice. I was able to get several of my students to enter reviews into the Wiki and received positive feedback.
